HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. (5/30/12)—Aficionados of professional-quality film equipment take note: One of Hollywood’s best-known camera-rental companies will sell 90 percent of its film-based inventory on June 13 in an online auction at www.SoldTiger.com.

Reflecting the industry’s rapid shift to digital, the sale by Otto Nemenz International will include 70 camera packages as well as lenses, support, accessories and parts. “This represents a rare opportunity for budding filmmakers on a budget as well as seasoned professionals who simply love the look of film,” said Jeff Tanenbaum, president of Tiger Remarketing Services. “When a company of Otto Nemenz’s caliber decides to clean house, the result is a tremendous purchase opportunity for some of the best quality and most well-maintained equipment in the industry.”

Items will be available for online bidding on June 1 and will close in rapid succession, live auction style, on June 13, beginning at 10:30 a.m. (PDT).  Previews will be at 6121 Sunset Blvd. on June 4-5 and June 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
